The Story of the Number Five (5) for Kindergarten
The teacher reads the story, writes it on the board, draws a 5, and says:
The number five woke up from sleep and washed his face five times, then brushed his teeth. After number five had his breakfast,
he heard the sound of a cat and went toward it. When he got close, he found its leg was hurt, so he thought of a way to treat the cat.
Then he remembered something and ran off quickly, and in no time number five brought the first-aid box and cleaned the wound.
The cat thanked number five, and he felt happy and joyful.
The mother or teacher then tells what we learn from the story:
- Help others and be kind to animals.
- Personal cleanliness.
- Eat breakfast, for it benefits good health and a strong body.
- Keep a first-aid kit — it is indispensable in every home and place.
- When someone does a good deed for you, give thanks and show gratitude.

on the right hand alone
Five … five fingers
on the left hand alone
Five … five prayers
